1. Purpose

This policy defines the warranty terms for Tucker Motors Private Limited (“Tucker”) electric vehicle charging products, ensuring customers receive repair or replacement for eligible defects under the stated conditions.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1 Products Covered

This warranty applies to:

• Tucker AC Chargers (all models)
• Tucker DC Fast Chargers (all models)

2.2 Duration of Coverage

• Standard warranty period: 12 months from the date of invoice.
• Warranty coverage for repaired or replaced parts: 3 months from repair date or the remaining warranty period, whichever is longer.

2.3 Scope of Warranty

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, including:

• Internal electronics failure caused by defective components
• Structural defects in housing/enclosure
• Safety mechanism malfunction
• Display or interface module defects caused by manufacturing fault

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

1. Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorised repairs, or modifications.
2. Physical damage due to improper installation by non-authorised personnel.
3. Damage caused by electrical surges, lightning, flooding, fire, or other external causes.
4. Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration) that does not affect functionality.
5. Use of the product for purposes other than intended EV charging.
6. Failure to comply with user manual and safety instructions.
7. Damage caused by third-party accessories or cables not approved by Tucker.

4. Claim Procedure

Step 1 – Claim Initiation

• Customers must submit their claim via the Tucker Warranty Portal: https://tuckermotors.com/warranty/
• The claim form must include:
  • Invoice copy
  • Product serial number

Step 2 – Eligibility Verification

• Tucker’s technical team will review the claim details through the portal.
• If the defect is covered under warranty, Tucker will approve the repair or replacement.

Step 3 – Repair or Replacement

• All warranty service will be performed by Tucker-authorised engineers.
• If repair is not possible, Tucker will provide a replacement unit.

Step 4 – Turnaround Time

• Warranty service completion target: 7–15 business days from approval date.
• Customers will receive claim updates through the warranty portal and email.

6. Governing Law

This warranty is subject to the laws of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively by the courts in Madurai.
